1 bag english breakfast tea
15 mL whole cardamom 1 tbsp
2 sticks cinnamon
3 mL whole cloves ½ tsp
2 star anise
2 mL ground ginger ¼ tsp

Preparation

Fill a medium teapot with boiling water

Add tea bag and spices, let steep, covered for approximately 5 minutes.

Remove tea bag only and let steep another 10 minutes.

Remove tea bag only and let steep another 10 minutes.

Strain spices through a tea strainer into tea cups. Serve with cream or milk and sugar.
