Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Process until well-combined and thick.
Refrigerate. Use for pizza, sandwiches, pasta or meat dishes.
Commercial pesto is, unfortunately, rather high in fat-although it is "good fat"(of vegetable origin and largely monounsaturated.) Remember, when making pesto all you need is enough oil to puree the basil leaves with the cheese and nuts.
