Ingredients

349 g pkg baby peeled carrots, 12oz
500 mL broccoli florets, chopped 2 cups
15 mL Becel® margarine 1 tbsp
60 mL red bell pepper, finely chopped 1/4 cup
15 mL sesame seeds 1 tbsp
10 mL grated fresh ginger root 2 tsp
1 garlic clove, minced

Preparation

In a medium saucepan, in a small amount of boiling water, cook carrots for 5 minutes. Add broccoli to saucepan and continue cooking for 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Drain. Alternatively, steam vegetables until tender.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt margarine over medium heat. Sauté red bell pepper, sesame seeds, ginger and garlic for 3 minutes or until tender.

Add carrots and broccoli to pan with pepper mixture and toss to coat well.
